I. I’m pretty sure Land Rover’s business model at this point is to justify prices by  making their cheaper models look like shit. Why else would they replace the LR4 with an ugly charmless blob only to reintroduce basically the same shape in the Defender?

Those prototypes are definitely running a lot of extra body cladding, I wouldn’t be surprised if it looked nothing like that.

Pretty much...no matter what it ends up looking like. (T here’s no way I’d hang on to the idea that the new Defender will look exactly like the promotional mule)

Mainly because the new Defender will run the same sort of chassis that the D 4 used (but was dumped for the D5).
